High winds are causing severe dust storms forcing aeroplanes to climb to 15,000 feet for clear air. LATER. ■ With the falling of winds late today, the greatest dust storm in 20 years subsided, leaving Minnesota and North Dakota top soil on office desks and household rugs in several States, as far east as Pennsylvania. Although the extensive drought, which pulverised the soil is unabated, the conditions remain acute.
