[OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] At the annual meeting of the Haeremai Croquet Club, held in the club pavilion, there was a good attendance of members. The balancesheet and report were read iraid adopted. The following officers wwe elected for the coming season: —President, Mrs Erikson (re-elected): vicepresident, Mrs Hill (re-elected); secretary, Mrs T. being the winners of the various events: —Senior grade championship singles. .Mrs McCracken; runner-up, Mrs Braithwaite. Championship doubles, Mrs McCracken and Mrs Braithwaite. Handicap doubles, Mrs McCracken and Mrs W. Wright. Handicap singles, Mrs McCracken; run-ner-up, Mrs Erikson. Junior grade handicap singles, Mrs Whitehead; runner-up, Mrs G. Wright. The progressive tournament played on Easter Monday was won by Mrs Hill. The trophy for the most improved junior player of the season was won by Mrs XV. Wright. The President congratulated’ the Club on winning the A., B. and C. grade silver buttons at the West Coast tournament. . A vote of thanks was passed to the retiring treasurer. Supper was served. Mrs Gore, accompanied by her son, Mr R. Gore, are on a. visit from Ashburton.
