LEAGUE FOOTBALL
TO-MORROWS MATCHES. Under favourable weather conditions, there should be considerable public interest in the two senior League mutches set down for to-mor-row. At Cobden, the Blackball and Marist teams will meet. Marist were responsible for Blackball’s one defeat in the first round. There is little between tlie strength of both sides, and as Blackball will have the services of J. Calder to-morrow, there should lie a noticeable improvement in the forward' play, which, under unfavourable weather conditions, would be the deciding factor. At Wingham Park, Runangu meet Pirates, and there also, an even contest can be expected. Lower grade matches will bo played ns curtain-raisers to the senior games, and “on top of the ground,” fast and keen football in all grades is likely.
