NEGOTIATIONS NOT COMPLETED [FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION;] WELLINGTON, February 9. Mr Stewart, Minister of Commerce in Australia, left on return to the Commonwealth to-day. In a joint statement, Messrs Coates and Masters say that various subjects of interest were closely investigated, and details were discussed. It is not yet possible, however, to arrive at a final agreement, and it will be necessary to continue the discussions at a later date. With this object in view, Mr Stewart has, at the request of the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr J. A. Lyons, invited the New Zealand Government ‘to send a Ministerial delegation to Australia at a date to be arranged.
