The Lindberghs arrived, to-day, having flown over 25,000 miles, crossings the Atlantic twice, and traversing 31 countries since July 9. SYDNEY HYDRO-PLANE. SYDNEY, December 20. Claimed to be the fastest ferry boat in the world, the Sydney Ferries new 45 feet passenger hydroplane, with the designer, Wing-Commander Wackett at the controls, recorded 35 knots in trials. The boat is designed to carry thirty-five passengers, seated, with ample standing room. It has a cruising speed of 25 knots. KINGSFORD SMITH. SYDNEY, December 20. Kingsford Smith’s monoplane Codock, is expected to be ready for trials early in February. Smithy, accompanied by Taylor, Standage, and Pethybridge, flies to New Zealand by the Southern Cross on January 15. He will return to Sydney by steamer in February, to pot the Codock through the test flights, returning to New Zealand by steamer to continue passen ger flights through the Dominion in the Southern Cross. White’s crew in the Codock will be Commander Bennett as navigator, and 'a wireless operator.
