FIRM’S “PADDED” TIME SHEETS. [PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, October 14. Stated to have “padded” time-sheets so as to justify au application for a subsidy under the Unemployment Board’s No. 10 Scheme, Henry Sinclair Cunningham, secretary of the Love Construction Company, was fined £l5. The Magistrate staled that no attempt. had been made to comply with the terms of the scheme. For .the defence, it was staled that subsidy and non-feubsidy Work were proceeding on the same premises, and the Unemployment Board suffered no loss, as the owner of the premises had received only £3B as subsidy while he was entitled to £O6. •
