[BY CABLE —F7.ERR ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. October 2, 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 2. Rain fell over most of the State during the week-end, and was so heavy in the north-western parts that floods are feared in the inland river systems. Torrential falls are recorded from parts of Central and Southern Queensland. Many rivers are in high flood. Twenty inches fell at Takilboran during the week-end. Other places reported 15 inches. Burnett River is 23 feet above normal, and now ten feet over the wharves at Bundaberg. Other rivers flooded the town bridges. The Charleville aerodrome is under water. A mail plane dropped bags of mail, being unable to land. The flood waters entered hundreds of homes at Charleville.
