WEDDINGS

BROWN—WALKER. The wedding took place this morning, at Holy Trinity Church, .Archdeacon Jermyn offic|ia.lling, of Margaret, second daughter of Mr and Mrs T. Walker, Kumara, and Edward, fourth son of Mr and Mrs A. Brown, Greymouth. Mr T. F. Savage was at the organ. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father,, wearing a white satin ankle-length frock, made on diagonal lines. Sho wore a wreath and veil and carried bouquet of I'reesias and maidenhair fern. She was attended by her 'sister Mary, who wore an ankle-length frock of pale pink georgette, with, a picture' hat of embroidered straw, and carried a bouquet of pink sweet peas. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr A. Brown, as best man. The reception was held at Herb. Moore’s, the bride’s mother receiving her guests wearing an ensemble of black and white, with a black and white bangkok hat. to tone. The bridegroom’s mother was also attired in black, with hat to match. Mr and Mrs Brown left by the express later for Christchurch,, where the .honeymoon will be spent, the bride travelling in a lido blue frock relieved with white and a blue facecloth coat with hat to match. MEATES—DELLABOSCA. The wedding was celebrated this morning, at St. Patrick’s Church, Greymouth, of Marie Dellabosca, only daughter of Mr L. and the late Mrs Dellabosca, of Blaketown, and Francis Rolland Meates, third son of Mrs R. and the late Mr W. Meates, of Greymouth. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Gregory, who also celebrated Nuptial Mass. Miss B. Dellabosca (Murchison), .cousin of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, and Mr Hugh Higgins was best man. A reception was held at the residence of Mrs A. Negri, Blaketown, and the newly-married couple left later by the express for Christchurch, where they will in future reside. _

Last evening, at the residence of Mr and Mrs J. M. Eadie, High Street, Miss Dellabosca and Mr Meates were entertained at a kitchen evening. Many presents were received and all present extended their best wishs to the guests.
