TO-MORROW’S MATCHES. More than passing interest will be taken by the public in the principal match to be played at Wingham Park to-morrow afternoon. The West Coast team, which will leave next Monday, on a tour of the North Island, is to play “The Rest.” It is. reasonable to expect that the tourists will win, but the opposition to-morrow is sufficiently strong to provide a good test of the capabilities of the West. Coast elect. Lower grade matches will be played as curtain-raisers, to the main match, CALDER AND DODDS TO TOUR. Mr A. IT. McKane, President of the West Coast Rugby. League, informed a “Star” reporter to-day, that he had received official notification from the President (Mr J. Nelson) and Secretary (Mr J. Hunt), of the Blackball Club, that J. Calder and J. Dodds, members of the Blackball Club selected to tour with the West Coast team, were now available. Mr McKane added that Calder and Dodds would be reinstated in the team. The seventeen players to tour are: Backs: L. Martyn (Pirates), J. Devonport (Marist), P. Hart (Runanga), Morris (Reefton), Williams (Runanga), J. Dodds (Blackball), J. Masters (Runanga), E. O’Brien (Marist), T. O’Connor (Marist). Forwards: J. Calder (Blackball), W. Glynn (Runanga), G. Newton (Runanga), J. Beban (Marist), G. Scott (Marist), Du,tton (Reefton), H. Hunt (Pirates), Robinson (Reefton). Messrs L. Hunter and A. Anisy will travel with the team as manager and : assistant-manager respectively. : BLACKBALL TO MEET CENTRE.
