WEST COAST CHAMPIONSHIPS. On Saturday night next, the West Coast Amateur Boxing Championships will be held at Greymouth. In past years the contests have provid ed interesting, and high-class boxing. There is: every reason to believe that ihe men and youths aspiring for the honours this year, are as capable, and crowd-pleasing as the champions of the past. Amateur boxing in Greymouth has generally proved to be of greater interest than professional .fights, and as the contestants have been in training for a considerable period, their fitness should enable them to give good exhibitions. Knowing that excitement will be provided, the public will not require any pressing invitation to be present at the Town Hall on Saturday night.
