LEAGUE FOOTBALL
TO-MORROW’S MATCHES. The West Coast Rugby League competitions which have, on three occasions been postponed through weather conditions, will be commenced tomorrow, should play be at all possible. Players have not neglected training, and will be in good form for the contests. At Wingham Park, Marist meet Runanga, in senior and junior grades, while lower-grade matches will also take place there. At Blackball, the home senior thirteen, meet Pirates. Brunner and Ngahere juniors play at Ngahere. Third grade matches are set down for decision at Dunollie and Brunner. Interesting football can be expected in all grades. Marist fourth grade team to play Runanga at Wingham Park, at 1.30 p.m., Sunday:—l. Beams, E. Casey, D. Rose, R. Taylor; T. Brown, E. A. Keating; F. Austin; W. Ryan, Buchanan, ;O. Beirne, M. Nesbitt; J. Keating, R, Beban, W. Bullimore.
