REEFTON NOTES

[OUB OWN COBBESPONDENT.] REEFTON, April 11, Mr W. Sunderhland has returned from Wellington. Messrs W. Heath, W. Hampton, B. Hampton and J. Hampton, of Charleston, were visitors to Reefton yesterday. Mr D. Lane, of Christchurch, is on a visit to Reefton. Mrs Banks, senr., who has been on the sick list, has improved' slightly. She is at present at Waiuta. Heavy rain fell in Reefton and the Inangahua Valley last night. Considerable damage was done at the Landing Mill, the tramline being washed away. Mr Sanderson, batery manager of the Alexander Mine, was in Reefton for the week-end.
