[peb press association.] SCHOOLBOY DROWNED. WHANGAREI, March 11. A High School boy, George Crowley, 17, son of William Crowley, locomotive foreman, was drowned in a creek adjoining a playing field last evening. He went, into the water alone, for a swim after training for a sports meeting. A quarter of an hour later, his hotly was found lying at the bottom of the creek, with the arms folded on the breast.
