WALLSEND TO-NIGHT. “Blondie of the Follies” will be screened to-night. SCHAEF’S HALL On Saturday evening in Schaef’s Hall, Cobden Football Club are holding a grand gala old time dance. Gaiety Orchestra have been engaged so first class old time music is assured, whilst an efficient M.C. will have charge of the floor. All lovers of old time dancing should not miss to-mor-row evening. UNEMPLOYED DANCE The Greymouth Unemployed resume their old time dances to-morrow night at the Town Hall. The floor has received special attention and the music supplied by the Melody Four will be of the best. Dancing all the while will be the rule. Come and enjoy yourself and assist the local unemployedCOBDEN GALA AND SPORTS At the Cobden Domain to-morrow, Cobden Football Club are holding their annual gala and sports and the Club is making every effort to make this day one to be remembered. Included in the programme is national dancing, races for everyone, both young and old, whilst the greasy pig chase should cause a great deal of amusement, as will a host of other novelty events. Afternoon tea, sweets, ice cream, and soft drinks will be obtainable on the grounds, and the Club members will be conducting a num- ! her of sideshows. A great afternoon’s sport is assured.
