LONDON, August 14.
“The Times’s” Milan ' correspondent says: Apparatus which, it is claimed, silences heavy guns, almost completely conceals the smoke and flash is reported to have been successsfully tested in presence of Italian naval experts. The inventors are two Neapolitan engiheers, formerly artillery officers.
