POSTPONED BY BYRD. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. July 28, 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 27. Rear Admiral Byrd was elected Chairman of the Protein National Economy League, to head a popular movement for a reduction of Government expenses. He promptly announced that he would postpone the next Antarctic Expedition in deference to his “simple duty of calling off the expedition for a year.”
