INSURANCE COMPANIES CO-OP. V TO IMPROVE TRADE • A co-operative insurance campaign was launched in Great Britain recently by seven of the large insurance companies. The campaign was ’ addressed to employers and announced a plan whereby the employer could advance sums to assist the employees in meeting income tax -demands with minimum risk. At a -two-day conference of insurance advertising -men in Toronto, one speaker pointed out that insurance companies take in more in annual premiums -than -motor-car manufacture*® do in sales returns, yet spend on. advertising only .a.fraction of the amouiit the motor-car industry does.
