OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT. “The Squaw Man” Cecil de Mille’s greatest dramatic production, will be screened to-night. " “Chinese Bungalow” heads an alltalkie programme, to be presented Sunday night. The proceeds will be donated to the Mayor’s Unemployment Fund. CIVIC BAND DANCE. An old-time dance will be held in Schaef’s Hall this evening under the auspices of the Civic Band. Mr H. M. Petrie will officiate as M.C. The excellent floor and congenial appointments of the hall are well known and popular with dancers. Music will be supplied by the Gaiety Orchestra. SOCIAL AND DANCE. The Technical Old Students’ Assn. :last evening entertained the teachers and senior scholars of the school at a. social and dance at the school.- Eggleton’s orchestra supplied music for the dancing and Mr T. A. Jacokson was M.C. During the evening Mrs R. McLaren and Mr W. Payne rendered vocal solos, which were much appreciated. Supper was served.
