LATE MESSAGES
• PARIS, November 9. Casey (an Australian) was acquitted of defrauding Boardman. An English bank employee gave evidence that Casey was not the man who changed Boardman’s notes. A woman employee of a London hotel gave evidence on commission, that Casey’s photo was not the photo of the man who stayed at the hotel, and who was identified as changing Boardman’s note.
