The King and Queen are expected to leave London for Sandringham this week.. To-morrow the King and Queen will drive in state to Westminster for the ceremonial of the 'opening of the new Parliament,, at which the Prince of Wales will attend. Mr. and Mrs. L. McGinley returned to Nelson to-day, via Christchurch and Wellington.

Mr D. Lloyd George will leave London on November 18, on a health voyage to Ceylon and will return in January.
