A BRITISH EXHIBITION. - [BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.] RUGBY, November 5. A commercial motor show opened at Olympia, contains 448 vehicles, valued at £380,000, including small travellers cars, luxurious buses and coaches 30-ton eight-wheeled lorries, and mobile shops- Non-technical visitors were particularly impressed with the luxurious comfort and convenience of the latest omnibuses and motor coaches, while mechanical experts were much interested in heavy oil engines which have been developed so rapidly by British road transport firms. A favourable exchange position in part accounts for an exceptional number of large orders already received by exhibitors from other countries. Among these are orders for £190,000. worth of vans received by the Albion Company, and another for 58 Foden Diesel wagons.
