KING CAROL’S CHOICE. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] (Recd. May 9, 11 a.m.) PARIS, May 8. M. Pertinax, writing in “L’Echo De Paris” declares that Madame Lupescu’s presence at the Palace at Bucharest caused a decisive breach between King Carol and Queen Helena, who was compelled to go to Belgrade last night, although her son is seriously ill. Carol, in an interview with a French journalist, denied the possibility of a dictatorship.
