GREY COURSING CLUB

A meeting of the executive of the Grey District Coursing Cub was held last evening, Mr. Herb. Moore presiding over the following attendance: — Messrs J. Braithwaite, W. Gieseking, E. Smith, W. Neson, B. Taylor and the secretary, Mr. C. W. Lovell. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs A. Grogan, F. Heslin and W. Ryan. A motion of condolence was passed with the widow and relatives of the late Mr. J. D. Wingham who had been a member of the club. It was decided to hold the initial coursing meeting of the club on June 20, at Wihgham ‘Park. The .stake was fixed at £l5 with the addition of a valuable cup, presented by Dr. G. W. Meade, the club’s patron. The secretary was instructed to purchase 20 hares for the forthcoming meeting. Mr. T. Peynan’s offer to cut the grass on the plumpton was accepted with thanks. j>
