ESTIMATES REDUCED [PEB PBESB ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, May- 5. In accordance with the requirement of the Health, Department, the Wellington Hospital Board, to-day amended its estimates, reducing the amount from £144,623 tC £129,789. This means a saving to local bodies of £5,933. For the purpose of the ten per cent, “cut,” the original assessment of the value of the “living in” accommodation of house surgeons at the Wellington hospital is to stand.
