CANADIAN POLITICS [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN.—COPYRIGHT.] OTTAWA, April 21. The House of Commons passed the motion for the address-in-reply to the speech from the throne by a majority of thirty-four. The vote was 111 to 77. Previously, an amendment by the United Farmers of Alberta, was defeated by thirty votes, and a Liberal amendment was defeated by forty-three. AVIATRIX ARRESTED. VANCOUVER, April 22. A message from Windsor (Ontario) states that Lady Mary Heath has been arrested as the result of an altercation in an auto with her secretary, as to whom should drive. She was granted bail on a charge of intoxication. She had been the guest at two dinner parties.
