January 23. The General Disarmament Conference will be held on February 2, 1932, probably at Geneva. BRITISH -INDUSTRIES’ FAIR. RUGBY, January 23. The organisers of the British Industries’ Fair, opening at London and Birmingham, on February 16, state that buyers attending will include an unusually large proportion attracted by the textile sections of the fair in London, including the cotton textile section at White City, the enlarged textile and clothing section at Olympia, and the artificial silk exhibition at Albert Hall. The general attendance promises to be large, and the acceptances by overseas buyers already exceed”by 29 per cent, those received .by the same date last year.
