[our own correspondent.] REEFTON, August 9. Mr M." Israelson, of the Railway staff, returned from holiday leave on Thursday. Misses M. Heald and W. Mori and Una Cleaver were passengers to Christchurch this morning. • Mr and Mrs W. E. Burley are visiting Christchurch. Mr J. B. Auld was a passenger to Christchurch this morning. Mr and Mrs A. T. Brooks were passengers to Christchurch to-day. Some thirty men employed on the Buller Gorge received notice of dismissal on Thursday.
