DISPUTE SETTLED

The dispute between the Wairaki Coal Company and the miners employed by that company was settled at a sitting of the Conciliation Council today. '
It was agreed' to open the mine on Monday, and that the union should supply the number of mon required to work the mine each fortnight, and that the whole of the employees employed by the company on July 28 shall share the work in turn.
