WALKER v. LUNDYN [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, June 16. In a professional wrestling contest at the Town Hall to-night, George Walker, heavyweight champion of the British Empire, maintained his undefeated record for the season by accounting for Alex Lundyn, the champion of Finland. Walker obtained falls in the second and the sixth rounds, and Lundyn gained one in the fourthThere was a large crowd, who enjoyed the match, which was lively throughout. McDougall v. ebert PALMERSTON N., June 16. In a professional wrestling contest to-night, Scotty McDougall (Canada) beat Fred Ebert (Australia) in the sixth round. Ebert won the first fall with a body press.
Later, McDougall crippled his man with a “stepover” toe hold, and Ebeit after conceding the fall, could not leave his corner for the seventh round.
