Scott has issued a challenge to Schmeling. It is expected that the fight will be staged in England. Scott, however, must defeat Stribling on July 28, thereafter the British Control Board can insist on him as a genuine contender. No doubt the Board will see that he gets a fair deal. AUSTRALIAN BOUT SYDNEY, June 15. At the Sydney Stadium, in a gruelling fight, Jack Haines, 11.3, the middleweight champion of Australia, outpointed Larry Brignolia 11.0, of the United States.
