KEEN ELECTION CAMPAIGN. [by CABLE—PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] SYDNEY, June 13. The nominations closed to-day for fifteen seats for the Sydney City Council which, for the past two years has been administered by a Commission. The Council is now being restored. The electoral boundaries have been altered, and an intensive fight is proceeding between anti-Labour and Labour candidates.
Forty-two nominations have" been received for the fifteen seats. The polling will take place next Wednesday.
