Ireland qualified to meet Australia in the second round of the Davis Cup, McGuire defeating Landau 13/11, 0/6, 3/6, 6/4, 6/1. WRESTLING. NEW YORK, May 6. A crowd of 10,000 people saw Shikat (2181bs) defeat Hans Steinke (2401b5) in a wrestling - match with a front drop and head scissors. The champion was extended to the utmost throughout by the giant German, who dropped Shikat twice before being defeated.
