TRANSVAAL ELECTIONS
LABOUR MEN DEFEATED. [By CABLE PRESS ASSN. COPYRIGHT.] 4 (Recd. March 29, 11 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, March 28. The Transvaal Provincial Council election results' created an awkward position, for the Hertzog Cabinet, for all the Cresswell (Labour) Party candidates have been defeated, including Cresswell and Sampson, Minister of Posts. The Nationalists must supply a chairman of the Council, thus creating even numbers 26/26 upon questions on which the Opposition is united.
