VANCOUVER, December 4: At Alfred, Ontario, Paul Baptiste Sauve and five of his children, aged from 2 to 10 years,’ were burned to death to-day, when fire destroyed their farm and homestead. Mrs. Sauve threw her infant daughter into the snow, and jumped with her eldest son, breaking both her l^gs.' She may die. BLENHEIM DWELLING. BLENHEIM, December 5. A four-roomed dwelling, insured for £5OO in the State Office, owned by Frank Hopgood, and occupied by Mrs. Clara Hounsell, was partially destroyed during the night . The insurance on the contents is £255, in the Phoenix Office.
