CHINESE AND OPIUM
CONVICTIONS AT DUNEDIN. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, December 5. At the Police Court, Sue Ham, described as a market gardenei’ and trafficker in opium, was fined £75 for being in possession of prepared opium. George Wong and Young Poy, two of his employees, were each fined £lO for having in their possession an opium pipe and other utensils. They were £ described as martyrs to the drug.
