FRENCH CABINET
NEW PREMIER’S RECEPTION. (By Cable—Frees Assn.—Copyright.) PARIS, November 8. The new Prime Minister, M. Tardieu, had a cool reception from the Chambei' of Deputies, when he went to the .tribune to read the Ministerial declaration, but when he made reference to home affairs and to the Government’s series of projects in connection therewith, he aroused great applause, and he captured the whole of the Right Centre, while the Leftists were obviously in a dilemma, as the programme is one containing much that they desire. Contrary to expectation the debate was adjourned to-day, when it was expected that the Government would have scored by a narrow majority.
