DOG SHOOTS MASTER
TRIGGER PULLED BY CORD. LONDON, August 18. How an Alsatian dog was partly responsible for the shooting of its master in a tent at Nonington, Kent, was revealed at an adjourned inquest yesterday on Reginald William Clark, aged 23, at Ackholt Farm, Nonington. Last Saturday morning, it was stated, Clark’s brother heard the report of a gun and heard Clark cry out “Oh dear!” The brother found Clark with a gunshot wound in the chest and the gun with the muzzle pointing towards In the tent was an Alsatian dog tied to the centre pole. Clark’s, brother said he thought the dog had made a noise, causing Clark to reach for the gun, and that the cord attached to the dog caught and pulled the trigger. “Death from misadven- : ..urned.
