ESCAPEE SURRENDERS SYDNEY, Sept. 27.
Norman Niass, who, with a companion, escaped from the Lithgow lockup early in the week, has surrendered to the police. His companion, Thomas Aiken, was shot dead by a constable on Wednesday night.
