CUNNIFFE —LYNCH. A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Patrick’s Church this morning, between Mary Cecilia Lynch, only daughter of the late Michael and Mrs Lynch Brick Street, Greymouth, and Thomas Cunniffe, youngest son of Mr and Mrs T. Cunniffe, Shakespeare Street. The bride, who entered the church on the ann of her brother, Mr J. Lynch (who also gave her away), looked charming in her frock of ivory satin and white veil with Limerick lace to match. The bridesmaids, Miss May Tracy, cousSn of the bridegroom and Aliss Anne McCowan, wore frocks of green and pink crepe de chine respectively, with tulle hats to match. The two little flower girls, Irene Barclay and Hazel Hall wore ivory crepe de chine dresses with mauve bands, and carried bas-

kets of sweet peas. Air W. Cunniffe was best man and Mr Andrew Lynch was groomsman. The wedding was celebrated by Rev. Father Gregory, and Hie newly-married couple left the church to the strains of the wedding march played by Aliss Moira MeSherry. The party adjourned to Herb. Moore’s Rooms, where Airs Lynch received the guests, wearing a black satin dress, trimmed with fawn silk. Mrs Cunniffe, mother of the bridegroom wore a pretty navy blue silk dress with hat to match. Various toasts were proposed and responded to, and Air and Airs Cunniffe later left by express on their honeymoon, the bride wearing a neat costume of fawn tweed with fur and hat to match.
