PASSENGER’S DEATH. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, February 11. Albert Kennedy McNamee, single, 34 years of age, died in the Public Hospital this morning. McNamee was injured as the result of a tyre blowing out while he was being driven in a motor-car near Tuapeka Mouth on Friday, and he was removed to Dunedin Hospital yesterday. An inquest was opened at the hospital this afternoon. Patrick Lyons | Anderson, a farmer, who was the driver of the car, gave evidence as to the fact that when the tyre blew out, the car slewed round, lft.it it was thought the deceased had not been seriously injured. He complained that he had hurt his neck, but it was not until Sunday that it was thought necessary to summon Dr. Radcliff, who ordered his removal to the Dunedin Hospital. The inquest was adjourned. MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED. DUNEDIN, February 11, That death was the result of shock and cerebral injuries, caused by being accidentally thrown from a motorcycle, ridden by himself, on Littlebourne Road, on February 2, was the verdict returned by the Coroner (Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.), at the adjourned inquest into the circumstances surrounding the death of Robert Shaw Wright, held before him this morning.
