In the bicycle race Runanga to Seven Mile and back, to-morrow (Sunday), starting at 11 a.m., the following handicaps have been declared: —W. Page lOsecs behind scratch, J. O’Neill scr., A- Boote scr., J. Medlin ssecs, J. Mossop 15secs, J. Doherty 25secs, J. Devine 25secs, W. O’Brien 35secs, V. Swallow 2min 30secs, G. Leach 3min 30secs, J. Marshall 3niin 30sec, W. James 3min 30sec, J. O’Donnell 3min 30sec, J. Pender 4min 30sec. Other local nominations will be received and declared at the post.
SCULLING
WELLINGTON, Jan. 12.
An invitation has been extended by the New Zealand Amateur RowingAssociation to P. Pearce, Olympic and Australian champion sculler, to compete at the Wellington regatta on February 16, and the New Zealand championship regatta on February 23. The Association has offered Pearce’s Club £25 towards the expenses.
