The Paugen river, with its swift flowing rapids, and turbulent falls, has been transformed into one of thja largest and most complete power units in America. Power was -turned on to-day. The transmission line is the greatest in the world in length, and the load it carries is a quarter of a million horse power. It stretches for two hundred and twenty-six miles into Toronto. The average voltage is two hundred and twenty thousand.
