MAIL CONTRACTS

SUCCESSFUL TENDERERS.

Tenders for the Inland Mail Service contracts, for 1929-31, for the West Coast, have been accepted as follow:^— Ahaura and Ahaura River (rural delivery) weekly: J. F. White (Ahaura); Blackball Railway Station and Post Office (as required), G. Kerr; Greymouth, Barrytown, and Maher’s Creek, twice weekly, D. Ryall (Barrytown), Greymouth and Cobden (delivery ot parcels within boundaries of postman’s deliveries) daily, W. J. I n Sj ls (Cobden); Greymouth Railway Station, wharves, and Chief Post Office, as required, W. J. Inglis (Cobden), Hokitika, Woodstock, Kanieri, and Rimu, daily (Mrs G. E. F. Keenan, (Kanieri); Hokitika, Lower Kokataln, and Koiterangi (part rural delivery) thrice weekly, C. T. Woolhouse (Lower Kokatahi); Hokitika Railway Station, wharf, and Post Office, as required, John Cameron (Hokitika); Ikamatua, Hukarere, Blackwater and Waiuta daily, J. O. Byrne (Ikamatua), Kumara Railway Station and Post Office as required, A. B. Spiers (Kumara) ; Ngahere Railway Station, Ngahere and Nelson Creek, daily,* H. E. Williams (Nelson Creek); Reefton and Springs Junction, weekly, T. S. Patterson, (Reefton); The Forks and Okarito, weekly (two trips) F.
