• William Stewart in an alleged confession of the St. George murder, told the police that he had quarrells with the murdered man. Little. A fight ensued, Stewart getting the worst of it. He hit Little on the head with a tomahawk, buried the body, and tried to burn the clothes. He hoped his mother would not hear of his crime, as it would break her heart.
