AMUSEMENTS

OPERA HOUSE—TO-DAY-

Jackie Coogan has appeared before his millions of admirers in many guises, but never in a military role as “The Bugle Call,” a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer picture, which the Opera House Theatre will present to-day, matinee and night. In this gripping outdoor drama, the juvenile genius plays the part of a bugle boy under his father’s command on the frontier in the days of the early west. SUNDAY- NIGHT Ken Maynard, popular western star of “The Unknown Cavalier,” “Senior Daredevil” and “The Overland Stage,” comes back to the' Opera House on Sunday night at the picture benefit in a new cowboy romance called “The Devil’s Saddle.” The story deals with life among the white settlers in Indian land. Kathleen Collins is featured opposite the Lothario of the cow country. MONDAY AND TUESDAY “Oh! What a Nurse!” the new Syd. Chaplin picture which comes to the Opera House Theatre on Monday for a run of two nights, is said to be one of the funniest pictures ever screened. Critics agree it is funnier than “Charley’s Aunt” or “The Man on the Box.” The picture was written by Robert E. Sherwood, editor of ‘Life’ and Bertram Bloch. It concerns the mad adventures of a newspaper reporter, forced into the garments of a bootleg queen.
