BOXING

VINCE PARKER WINS. (Australian Press Association.) (By Cable—Press Assn.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, August 10. At Parramatta, to-night, Vince Parker (New Zealand) 10.12, outpointed Douglas Lissom 12.2, over ten rounds. Parker led throughout using an excellent straight left and severely punishing his opponent, who was down twice in the fifth, and again in the sixth. Thereafter the New Zealander won easily. BUTCHER DEFEATS PAUL. SYDNEY, August 10. At Leichardt, Eddie Butcher 9.12, outpointed Jack Paul (New Zealand) 9.12. Butcher was down for eight in the third, but the New Zealander failed to follow up the advantage. He tired after the fifth, and his lack of condition robbed his punches of sting. At the final bell, he was very tired, and slightly behind on points.
