Mrs W. Graham, Murray Street, left this morning for Christchurch.

Mr C. N. Taylor, who has been visiting his father, Mr Joseph Taylor, Cobden, left this morning for Gisborne.

Mrs H. Proctor, who has been visiting Mr and Mrs V. Lee, Preston Road, returned to'-day to Levin.

Hon. H. L. Michel, M.L.C., was a passenger from Hokitika by this morning’s express, en route to Wellington.

Mr and Mrs W. F. Diedrichs, Kokatahi, were passengers by this morning’s express to Christchurch.

A London cablegram announced the death of the Right. Rev. Frederick Wallis, formerly Anglican Bishop of Wellington.

Mrs R. M. G. McDowall, who has been visiting Mr and Mrs A. J. McDowall, Milton Road, returned to Christchurch this morning.

Mrs A. W. Mackley, who has been visiting the Waipuna Station, near Ikamatua, returned to Greymouth today.

Mrs Cam Malfroy and daughters, for many years resident in Hokitika, and now residing in Wellington, have returned from a trip to England and the Continent.

The wedding was solemnised lat the Catholic Church, Aha'ura, this morning, by the Rev. Father O’Meeghan, of Miss May Fletcher, the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Fletcher, Ngahere, to Mr J. Finlay, the eldest son of Mrs R. Knight, Runanga. The bride was attired in a frock of delphinium charmelaine, with biege trimmings, and hat and shoes to tone. She also wore a fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by her sister, Miss Mabel Fletcher, who wore a frock of saxe reppe. Mr F. Heslin carried out the duties of best man. Mr and Mrs Finlay left on an extended tour of the South Island.
