OLYMPIC TESTS. (Australian and N.Z Cable Association.) SYDNEY, January 12. At the Olympic Swimming tests, at the Australian National Games, the hundred metres free stvle was won by Laidlaw (N.S.W.) in 1/7. The two hundred metres breaststroke was won by Bayldon (N.S.W.) in 3/12 1-5. The hundred metres backstroke was won by Carberry (N.S.W.) in 1/21 4-5. The four hundred metres was won by Jones (Westralia) in 5/29 3-5. The women’s two hundred metres breast stroke was won by Miss Robertson (N.S.W.) in 3/34 3-5. The four hundred metres was won by Miss Davey (N.S.W.) in 6/13. In the Olympic tests for wrestling, the lightweight division was Avon by Bolger (Victoria); the bantam was Avon by Ford (N.S.W.); the Avelter Avas won by Gale (N.S.W.), and the middleweight Avas Avon by Sharpe (Victoria). At boxing, the bantam Avas Avon by Sweeney (N.S.W.). Lightweight. 11. Campbell; feather, A. Mitchell; Avelter, R. Barling ail New South Wales). Light-heavy, F. Gilshannan (Queensland). YACHTING.
