NEPIA’S NEW CLUB. (Special to "Star.”) AUCKLAND, May 13. George Nepia, New Zealand’s great full-back, will not be playing for Hawke’s Bay this year, according to information the “Sun” has received from a reliable Napier correspondent. Nepia is now playing at a place called Rangitukia, in the East Coast back country and he has been appointed sole selector for the Waiapu sub-divis-ion.
Hawke’s Bay will miss Nepia in their Shield matches, he may of course return to his home at Nuhake, but at the moment it looks if Norman McKenzie will have to unearth another full-back.
