LIFE DISQUALIFICATIONS (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 14. That there can be no appeal against the decision of the New Zealand Rugby League Council, is a statement made in a letter to six of the seven New Zejaland representatives Who were disqualified for life at the conclusion of the English tour. The Council acknowledges receipt of letters from the six meh, who asked “for a fair trial and a public one if possible.” The reply is that according to a clause in the rules, there can be no appeal against a decision of the governing body. LOCAL FIXTURES Owing to the holidays and so many players on holiday there will be no fixtures at the Recreation ground on Saturday. The chief match on Sunday will be the Marist v. Runanga juniors at Cobden. The following will represent Martst Juniors in their match with Grey at Cobden on Sunday at 3 p.m.—Larcombe, Ryall, Kiely. (2), Davidson, Quinn, Stapleton, \Sigley, Nelson. Fraser, Leee, Donovhn, Gilbert, Williams, Anisy, Moore.
